Details
Natural Freshwater Potato Pearl Lilac 6-7mm Beads ~38cm/ 15" Strand
The colour is often referred to as Lilac or Lavender but they are almost peach in colour. Pearls differ from other cultured pearls in that they are not bead nucleated but a small piece of mantle tissue from another oyster is used. The result is a pearl composed of solid nacre, making them quite durable and resisting degeneration.
PLEASE NOTE: Holes are approximately between 0.3-0.5mm. Hole sizes for pearls are much smaller than for gemstone beads as the most popular stringing method is to use the traditional silk thread.
