Hematite Gemstone Guru Bead approx 10mm - Set of 1, Hole size approx 2mm.
Guru beads or Tee Joint beads are traditionally used in the making of Mala's. Mala jewellery is used to meditate and the guru bead marks the end of that round of Mantra or Prayer.
Each Guru bead set has two pieces. 1 bead (with 3 holes) and 1 tower bead. Hole sizes can vary, approximately 2mm.
Deep black with a metallic shine. Polished Hematite was traditionally used for magic mirrors which had the power to reflect back negativity. Roman soldiers were believed to rub the red powdered hematite on their bodies to make them invulnerable. See additional notes for more information on this stone.
