Sunstone Gemstone Round 10mm Beads approx 38cm/15" Strand.
Sunstone is a plagioclase feldspar, which when viewed from certain directions exhibits a brilliant spangled appearance. The optical effect appears to be due to reflections from inclusions of red copper, The Greeks believed that sunstone protected the earth from calamities and kept the sun on its right track.
